Everyone is familiar with aluminum blinds. In the past, blinds generally only served to ventilate and block the line of sight, and they were mostly used for indoor ventilation. However, as products are upgraded and improved, and better materials are introduced to make them, there are more and more types of blinds, and the fields of use are becoming more and more extensive. The use of aluminum alloy shutters to replacing traditional curtains is gradually becoming a trend.
Aluminum blinds currently on the market can adjust the opening and closing of the window openings and the opening angle of the blades. Both in terms of lighting and ventilation, they have more advantages than traditional curtains. In the past, the blinds could not be sealed, so they were more limited in use, but now they have completely overcome this drawback.
The advantage of aluminum blinds is that they can obtain the best permeability when fully opened, and when fully closed, it is equivalent to adding a window, and the shading is better than using curtains. It can be said that the functions of the window and the curtain are combined into one, which is not only more economical and simpler but also easy to clean, eliminating the trouble of frequent washing of the curtain. So what should we pay attention to when installing aluminum blinds?
Precautions when installing aluminum blinds
1. The strength of the aluminum profile must meet the standards of related materials, and it should feel very hard when folded by hand. Soft materials are definitely not available.
2. Small sections and thin-walled aluminum materials cannot be used for air-conditioning shutters. Some masters cut corners and replaced the regular aluminum window profiles with aluminum tubes. This would result in a significant reduction in the bearing capacity of the balcony aluminum windows. If the wind is a little bit stronger, it will be severely twisted, deformed, and even fall off.
3. The design should be reasonable, and the method of large division can not be adopted for saving materials. A large window sash that “floats” from the guardrail to the top cannot be used. A fixed window of 400 mm to 500 mm must be installed in the upper part and a sliding window of 1200 mm to 1300 mm in the lower part. Moreover, the sliding window cannot be too wide.
